I actually like that twitst, it really enforces the fact Hakkai was so afraid of Taiju that he was never able to fulfill his promise to Mitsuya and protect his sister from Taiju. That way when Hakkai finally stood up to Taiju it felt a lot more genuine.

So basically hakkai is a coward that lets his sister takes the beating and lied about it from his friends from toman that he's the one who was taking the beating

Yep, if you hit the jaw at just the right angle, even forces that could usually be withstood go straight through and cause loss of balance due to a mild concussion. We all gotta stop the Takemitchy hate now lol (it really does get you fired up seeing someone fight a losing battle and still not back down... kudos to the writer who I previous felt like clowning).

I mean he has, and likely will again. Will it be as OP and one sided as battles with other characters? Nah. But it will still have us on the edge of our seats like this one, and the fights before this have, like the one which gave him the scar in his hand.

Takemichi actually got a hit on Taiju, that's something to applaud. I was surprised Taiju got on his knees though, I thought maybe the knife wound was deeper than he anticipated but I forgot he already had a round with Mitsuya last episode. Taiju's punches carry way too much weight, Takemichi's face shouldn't be repairable at this point.

But man, finding out Yuzuha was the one protecting Hakkai was a surprise. It makes sense why she kept saying she would protect him before, she really was protecting her younger brother. I like how all the guys were calling him lame for lying about that, especially the Toman guys saying it with affection compared to the Black Dragon guys.

I am glad Hakkai has finally moved and is fighting Taiju with his two fists, it was crazy when Taiju went into a frenzy, screaming why he has to kill them when he loves them. I'm curious to see if we'll see his perspective of why he started beating them, and how he has been "protecting" them.

It was a shot at the side of Taiju's chin so that can explain it (although that doesn't really explain how takemitchy is still up and hasn't lost a tooth lmao)

I personally really don't want any of his perspective of this guy. I hate the type of guy who beat his sibling and call his twisted love as his love for them, there might be a redemption arc to make people to feel sympathy for them, which i don't want to have that kind of feeling toward this character. His beating is just too too much for forgiveness and any sympathy.

Thats because you have a failing brain and are also a disgusting person. Many things can cause people to have twisted thoughts. Sure tbh the best way to combat that is to just destroy anyone with those problems to prevent it from spreading.

Well this was an intense episode, I never expected Yuzuha to be the one protecting Hakkai from Taiju, this makes me like her more as a character.

I was also happy seeing Takemitchy being able to land a punch on Taiju and bringing him to his knees, Takemitchy may be packing some power there.

Now that Mikey has joined the fight I think things will be interesting.
